🔒 Runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploadedWin the job with a clear, professional quote
A quote, also called an estimate or proposal, tells a prospective customer exactly what you will deliver and what it will cost before any work begins. A clear, well-presented quote builds trust, sets expectations and makes it easy for the client to say yes. This generator lets freelancers, contractors, agencies and small shops create one in minutes. Enter your business and client details, a quote number and a valid-until date, list the items, and the live preview assembles a tidy A4 or US Letter document that you can download as a PDF.
Every line carries its own quantity, unit price, discount percentage and tax rate, which suits mixed jobs such as taxable materials combined with zero-rated services or a promotional discount on a single item. The calculation is predictable: quantity times unit price gives the line amount, the discount is subtracted, and the tax rate is applied to the discounted amount. Each line is rounded to the cent, so the figures on the page always add up to the total shown. The summary lists the subtotal, total discount, tax grouped by rate and the grand total in the currency you select.
What a good quote should include
Besides prices, a strong quote names both parties, carries a unique number for reference, shows the date it was issued and states how long the prices remain valid. The valid-until date protects you from material or labour costs that change, and it nudges the client to decide. Use the notes and terms box for the deposit, payment schedule, delivery time, what is excluded from the scope and how extra work will be charged. Being specific here prevents most disputes later on.
Private and free to use
Pricing and client lists are sensitive, so this tool never uploads them. Everything runs locally in your browser using static code, there is no account and there are no limits on how many quotes you create. When the client accepts, you can continue in the invoice generator with the same figures. Always double check amounts, tax rates and the validity date in the preview before sending the PDF.
